Inspiring Today's Youth =ITY (Equality:) is a non-profit society that was created by the founder and publisher of the social enterprise Teens Now Talk (TNT) Magazine, Jessica Bowden M.S.M.

Teens Now Talk Magazine is the seven-time award winning, exclusive Halifax-based, quarterly publication written for teens by teens and used in classrooms by educators throughout Canada and United States.

Through her work with TNT, it became apparent to Jessica that there is a need to create opportunities for youth where none existed. To provide youth with a voice, face-to-face connections, and hands-on entrepreneurial experience, to inspire and empower youth with the confidence to achieve.

The purpose of =ITY is to inspire, motivate and empower today's youth by working with them on a personal level to show them how to realize their own potential and find real opportunities to achieve success.  Everyone tells youth that they can succeed, =ITY shows them how says Jessica.  

We bridge the gap between educational curriculum and real-world experience.  Youth are often told they can succeed, but if you cannot see it, you cannot be it”.  We connect our youth with key information and partners who look like them, within the community in professional environments, who are not normally readily available to the youth.  Through this process, we promote and encourage youth development, changing their mindset from “I can't” to “I can”, so they can see how they can dream big and turn their dreams into reality.  

Teens Now Talk places youth in front of, diverse professionals, for example, the Doctors, Engineers, Judges, lawyers, Physics, Environmental or Atmospheric Scientist, and yes President who they dream and inspire to become.
